Grassy Creek Vineyard, North Carolina – Home for the night
We have heard from many of you that you want more current, behind the scenes action. So, we are going to try and give you more off the cuff style vlogs. We will show you little bits here and there that you don’t get from our “travel like a local” episodes. Let us know what you think!
We love the Yadkin Valley! The wine country of North Carolina…yes, they have a wine country. It’s beautiful, laid back and so far the people are very friendly.
As you can see from the video, we are parked at Grassy Creek Vineyards. They were nice enough to offer us a parking spot for a couple of days while we explore the area.
Don’t worry fellow RV travlers…we are getting the scoop on overnight stays for you too! Stay tuned! Until then, if you are in the area, just give em a call and if they have a parking spot, I am sure they would love to have you!
Here are a few photos we took exploring the property today. There is a lovely trail that leads down to Grassy Creek (the wines namesake) and Klondike Lake. The kitty’s came along for the journey.

How was dinner with the owner of the winery? is the wine good in that area? I’ve seen a few in North Carolina and will check them out next time I’m there.

I second the fashion blog idea. Shopping/hunting and also how to organize all your gorgeous clothing/shoes in the RV!

Beautiful country. The photo of Nikki with the cats on the trail is outstanding. Have fun!

Love it! Are you never worried that the cats will wander off?

Thanks Cindy…I do love shopping and hunting for a great deal. Maybe one day I can have a little fashion/DIY blog!

Love it that you guys are giving us more in the moment information! How is the wine? Have you been tasting?
