Desert Night Dive in Arizona
Ever thought of diving in the middle of the desert? How about SCUBA in a lake…..through shipwrecks…..at night? Let me be the first to tell you it makes for one helluva a night.
So, what did you think? Have you been on any night dives? Share your stories below and if you have a link to a cool video or pictures, share that too!
A special thanks to Joel and Kathy of Scuba Training and Technology for setting up the night dive, and to Joel for filming us underwater! Gotta love Lake Havasu City!

Something to try when we go to Havasu….. no night dives yet but I see one in the future.

I wouldn’t think you would be able to see much in the lake at night. I’ve been in water where it is cloudy and had problems with my sense of direction, was it hard to navigate at night?

Very interesting video. Now that I have lots of free time on my hands, I follow your posts a lot more. It would not surprise me someday to check out one of your posts and find you two on the space station. I really don’t know anyone who has more fun, and tries so many things as you two. Nikki’s crawdad impression is one of the best I’ve seen. LOL. (PS: it is the only one I’ve seen). Take care

Hey Guys,
I love your site. I too saw you through the House Hunters episode. I love living vicariously through all your adventures. Keep on rolling.
Martha
PS. Who is the kitty? Soo adorable
Jason Wynn
Thanks Martha! We put our craziness out there to hopefully inspire others to join us! If you can’t join us yet, at least we hope you can catch a little bit of that travel bug.
Our Kitties are Singa and Cleo, and Mr. Singa has written a post about traveling on the roan in and RV and he LOVES it when people leave him comments: https://www.gonewiththewynns.com/traveling-cats
Happy New Year!

I just discovered you guys! Merry Christmas to me! I have already decided to sell everything and hit the road next summer. I am going to get a 5th wheel so when I find my home I still have a vehicle to drive. You are doing this way better than I can afford but it is wonderful to see. Everybody thinks I’m crazy to sell everything and go, but I want to see my country, and ultimately, find my home. I love you guys! I love your website! I can’t wait to investigate the whole thing! You will be hearing from me a lot from now on!

I will warn you: Our original idea was to travel 1 year and find the perfect place to settle down. Here we are 2 1/2 years later and further away from settling down than ever. Once the bug has bitten it’s difficult to shake! Please feel free to contact us anytime with questions, we read EVERY comment on the website.

Underwater, by Air, Hiking, 4WD….man we’ve seen Havasu so many ways. We call it the playground in the desert.
