In Mt. Airy North Carolina we find ourselves in another time and place. Walking the streets and talking to the locals is the best part of visiting this town and it doesn’t take long to realize where the idea for Mayberry came about. Mt. Airy is a place where there are no strangers and there is never a dull moment.

Famous for my "how-not-to" videos, and typically the man behind the camera, sometimes I’m forced to be here in the “spotlight”. When you see my face you’re probably reading something more technical than adventurous, but either way I do my best to tell it like it is and infuse my opinions into the commentary…after all this is a blog and not MSN.

I am from Mt. Airy originally. I hope you got by Snappy Lunch and had a pork chop sandwich. 🙂 Did you swing by any of the Mt. Airy museums near downtown (two, I believe) or the “world’s largest open-faced granite quarry?” They will sell you personalized granite book ends that are kinda cool – not that you need THOSE in your Fleetwood.
