$89.00
When we moved aboard Curiosity we quickly realized our larger, corded vacuum wasn’t going to work. We searched high and low to find the best compact yet powerful vacuum. This is what we ended up with. It’s lithium battery gives lots of suction and easily 20-30 min of use. For the price, it can’t be beat.
A few specs:
Just double-check to make sure you are indeed buying the LITHIUM version. They still make a traditional battery version and it doesn’t last as long and the suction isn’t as good.

Looks like in Tonga you upgraded/changed. What’s the new 2020 vacuum?

Well I looked this up on amazon but it’s $83.00 wonder why that is

Looks cool! Wondering whether you ever wish for a wet/dry vacuum or whether you’ve got something else for wet boat (hopefully non-bilge) occurrences. Great site! Thanks for all the great info!

Good question. We do have a wet vac for cleaning bilges (and so thankful we do) but use a small, regular vac for daily stuff. With the cats on board, we have a lot of extra hair to keep off everything. 😉

Thank you so much for posting this. I just live aboard and have wanted an easy to use portable vacuum for awhile. I have a corded vacuum from Black and Decker that works well but I’m certain I’ll get more use out of this cordless. I followed the link to Amazon from here. How do I know if you guys got the credit? I’m a huge fan of yours and am actively looking for a Cat myself. I’m thinking about reaching out to Kent myself!
