Viair RV Automatic Portable Compressor

This pump is way more heavy duty than the standard pumps you can purchase at the auto parts store, yet it’s a fraction of the size & weight of the air compressors with the built in tank like you find at the hardware store. I like the RV model because it’s compact, lightweight and comes with all the accessories I need all kept safe in the little carry case, although I wish it had a standard plug option as well as the battery clamps.

That is probably the original price from 5 or 6 years ago when it was first put up in the gear store.

Just received the Viair 400P-RV. Excellent tool: well packed, decent instructions, minimal assembly, great carry case, seems to be well constructed, was easy to use on my motorhome tires, and the pressure gauge was accurate. I am renting an RV for a few weeks and the owner had just purchased a Slime brand “pro-series” which I wasn’t able to use because its fittings would not accommodate the RV tires valve stem location. No problem at all with the Viair – – they seem to have really thought through the design and functionality.
As noted by others, I wish there was an adaptor to use the Viair on household current. That is my only negative.
