# Sailing to Salvation Island

We say goodbye to Coromandel and spend the week island hopping our way back towards the Auckland area. Our first port of call is the island of [Waiheke](https://www.gonewiththewynns.com/boat-life-isle-of-wine), again.

This time we’re aiming for the east side and more specifically the dinghy-up winery at Man O’ War. Because our wine bar is empty and that doesn’t bode well with the crew of CURIOSITY.

But this is sailing in New Zealand and the winds move in mysterious ways and in turn so must we.

Ironically, instead of satisfying our thirsty desires at a beachside winery, we find ourselves on a wild island once reserved for those seeking salvation from the devil’s spirit.
