San Francisco RV Resort. a Resort with a View in Pacifica,CA

Want to stay right on the water in your RV and be only 10 minuets from the heart of San Francisco? Well you’re best bet is definitely the San Francisco RV Resort in Pacifica, California.

UPDATE: 04/2013 – We filmed this video in late 2011, apparently the cliff wall has taken a beating over the past year and the site we stayed in has now fallen into the water. We spoke with the resort manager a few days ago and he has confirmed the Coastal trail has mostly crumbled into the water, and the full hookup sites that used to be on the cliff’s edge are now for overflow camping only without connections. That said I still do not know of a better place to park your RV if you want to visit San Francisco.

The San Francisco RV Resort is located in Pacifica, CA just 15 min away from the heart of San Francisco. Located right on the cliffs edge of the ocean and walking distance to most of Pacifica. If you are looking for super spacious sites, this is not the place, however if you want amazing views and the best location for getting to San Francisco, look no further.  It’s not fancy by any means but the staff is friendly and the location is amazing.  We drove into San Francisco multiple days and even with a little traffic it still never took us longer than 15-20min to be in the heart of the city.
They have full hook ups, propane, a small store with basic RV supplies and they are pet friendly.

Famous for my "how-not-to" videos, and typically the man behind the camera, sometimes I’m forced to be here in the “spotlight”. When you see my face you’re probably reading something more technical than adventurous, but either way I do my best to tell it like it is and infuse my opinions into the commentary…after all this is a blog and not MSN.

  • I used to live in the Bay Area and went by there on many occasions. I always thought that it had to be a great place to camp as long as you didn’t mind some cold weather. It would be nice to stare out at the Pacific Ocean from the front window of your motorhome.

    Cheers!

Love you guys so much, We have stayed in Pacifica (San Francisco RV Resort) twice on our way down to LA and just this August 2015.It is by far the best place to say outside of San Francisco, even though the rates are a bit high, but I think this place is worth it. Watch the GPS guides you to turn left instead of right both times. And we have checked other RV spots and they are not to nice. This place is always clean and always full so you need to book ahead. The only real down side is the spots are a bit tight. With so many units with large slides you do not get much room at your door. We have never had an issue at this place and it is the best by far. Love the little shops you can walk too and the VIEWS are by far the Best.. Keep on RVing Jason and Nikki. from the travelcouple88 #viewfindertravels88.

Wish I could find someone who could speak for the cleanliness of the bath house here since we would have to use it.
