BAGS FOR SAIL (upcycled sails from curiosity)

After 6 extraordinary years, 3 continents, and some of the most remote islands in the world, the original sails from CURIOSITY have been retired and repurposed.  And now, you could hold a piece of the story in your hands!

We have collaborated with the local Doyle Sails loft here in New Zealand to design a range of extremely limited, custom bags.  Each bag will be unique and hand-made by world-class sailmakers.

The bags are available for pre-order, but they will sell out fast.

Our sails are getting a second life and we get to carry a little piece of the original Curiosity with us into the future.✨

Hello there! I honestly don’t know what to say, so I am going to tell you a bunch of random facts instead. I'm a fish eating vegetarian who hates spiders and loves snakes. I almost never took vacations growing up. I wanted to be Pippi Longstocking (still do). I misspell about every other word I write and still struggle with grammar. I love splurging on a good high tea (which is really hard to find these days). And whatever you do, don’t tell me I can’t do something, because then I'll HAVE to do it!

Great looking bags. This was a great idea. You will now need to plan on replacing sails more often.

Just out of curiosity, are you leaving all your dishes, cookware, convection cooktop, “oven” and coffee accessories? Along with your storage containers and baskets? Or will those be incorporated into your new boat?
When you said you were packing just clothes and work items it got me thinking of all your other “homegoods”
Very excited for more updates and hope you both are feeling better.

Didn’t see how to purchase a bad from the repurposed sails. Help your neighbors from Louisiana figure it out.

Thank you I’m having to down size as I can’t live in my apartment anymore the neighbors cannabis is making me ill I want to sail away like you did. Been following since you decided to shop for a boat. Took the in class sailing and safety classes years ago still not been sailing in a boat. With me in any hands on ways. I’m afraid of not being able to hand wrench things if the power wrench didn’t work. Have carpal tunnel and neuropathy and now 70 years old but I want to sail away staring Bibles wherever I go and helping peoples have better drinking water and such.

Your adventures are captivating as are both of you. When younger I would have wanted your gumption and out and out bravery. A perfectly suited couple who are just the most interesting. I really enjoy your videos.
