# Offbeat Adventures, Summer Eats and Border Crossings in Yuma

Have you ever wanted to go somewhere but didn’t really know why? Yuma, Arizona is one of those places for us. When we tell people we’re headed to, or just spent time in Yuma, we always get mixed responses. People either don’t know where it is, think it’s just for old people, assume there is nothing to do or they’re a snowbird that doesn’t want the rest of the world to know about their winter paradise.

For us, Yuma is a wonderland of crazy, historical and sometimes weird adventures. Plus there’s tons of fresh produce, patio dining in the middle of winter and a great place to cross the border for cheap medical! Still don’t think Yuma sounds interesting?
