INSIDE A LOCAL COMMUNITY IN UGANDA

We're back with part two of our Uganda series, and this one takes us even deeper into the country.
Our destination? Teddy's home village in the Mindi district. A place where school happens under trees, bricks are made by hand, and everyone knows everyone. It felt like we were exploring the African Frontier.
You know we're always chasing authentic experiences, but this one hit different. Being welcomed into Teddy's community reminded us why we fell in love with travel in the first place. It's the people we meet along the way.
There were so many highlights but a few really stand out. Like spending an afternoon at the local school and watching shy village kids transform into giggling bundles of energy. Taking long walks through the misty highlands and trading banana pancakes for fresh maize. And getting a glimpse into their daily life that most travelers never see. It was a rare and unique experience that we will remember forever.
Coming up in Part 3: We're heading to the famous national park for the Big Five safari experience. Three completely different sides of Uganda, each one more incredible than the last.
