We have to leave 😬 (but let the upgrades begin!)

We've officially maxed out our time in Europe, which means, ready or not, we have to leave. And the problem? The boat is definitely not ready.

The kicker is, we must be gone for at least 90 days. And that's time we didn't want to waste. So, we're not just prepping UNDRA (pronounced OON-drah) to sit, but to be worked on while we’re gone.

What was supposed to be a straightforward "get things ready for haul out" day quickly turned into a full-blown scramble. One project led to another, timelines shrank, and suddenly we were racing the clock with way more on our plate than expected. And to make things even more interesting… we were doing a lot of it for the very first time.

But the hardest part of leaving isn't the prep work. It's not being here for the actual haul out and work being done. Because if there's one thing we've learned, it's that some of the biggest lessons happen in the messy middle. The problem solving, the unexpected hiccups, the figuring-it-out-as-you-go moments. But time and visa restrictions are not on our side. So, we're handing over the keys and trusting we made all the right decisions.

Did we get everything done in time? No. Did we miss anything important? I don't think so. And what exactly are we changing while she's out of the water? Well… that's where things get interesting!

We've got a list of small repairs and modifications but only 2 big upgrades. A cockpit transformation and a stabilization upgrade. Neither of which we'll be around to see come to life. So, it will be a big reveal for all of us when we return!
