Hiding From The Wind, Up a River

Hiding up a river from the wind is something sailors have done since forever.

But to be more specific, we're in The River Dart. Which has a long maritime and naval history including even the Mayflower.

So, weather and FOMO being what it is, we decided to see how far we could take our little electric tender before either the battery or the tide told us to turn around.

Because it’s a funny sort of river. At low tide, some of it disappears. Which means stopping for a pint in a 500-year-old church pub is both a very good idea and potentially a terrible one.

So this became a small mission to follow the river, poke around a few old villages, test the limits of our electric setup, and hopefully not end the day sitting in the mud.

Our journey is ever-evolving but the mission remains the same: CULTIVATE CURIOSITY
